Rolf-Peter "Roffe" Rosenbröijer

Rolf-Peter Rosenbröijer is one of the most experienced structured finance and special assets executives in Finland. He brings to Rosenbröijer & Vapaamies more than 35 years of in-depth knowledge of corporate workouts and restructurings in dozens of industries for both listed and private companies. Mr. Rosenbröijer has significant experience in both out-of-court and in-court reorganizations on behalf of some of the major banks in the Nordics and he has served as the Chairman of Creditors' Committee in some of the largest reorganizations in Finland. After his banking career, Rolf-Peter has successfully served as an advisor to financially and operationally challenged companies.
In addition to creditor representations in hundreds of reorganizations and workouts of listed and private companies, Mr. Rosenbröijer has served as the Corporate Counsel and Credit Controller in charge of troubled debt clients. Between 1995 and 1997, as part of the aftermath of the multi-year deep recession in Finland, he was a member of the special banking unit charged with grouping together and reorganizing all major high-risk corporations in Finland. In this role, he was personally responsible for taking over the largest troubled clients and presenting their acquisition reviews and reorganization plans to the credit committee of the newly formed banking syndicate.
Mr. Rosenbröijer's personal strengths encompass comprehensive and quick risk assessment, as well as, identification of key risk components concerning the workout or restructuring situation. Once the situational risk profile has been created, Mr. Rosenbröijer provides a hands-on approach in creating a detailed exit plan from the trouble. An expert in balancing the interest of the client and creditors alike, he excels in out-of-court reorganizations.
Mr. Rosenbröijer holds a Master of Laws degree with court training.

Peter “Pete” Vapaamies

Peter Vapaamies founded his boutique corporate restructuring and special situations firm in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA in 1993.
For over a quarter century as the lead navigator of strategic, operational and financial turnarounds and restructurings around the globe, Peter has experience within dozens of industries from revenue and asset sizes from tens to hundreds of millions of euros, including electronics, packaging, medical equipment, building products, furniture, electronics, aircraft and transportation textiles, retail, electrical and network wiring devices, labels, software, textiles, plastics, paper, information management systems, cosmetics, wood products, engineering services, technical products import and distribution, marina construction, and various metals processing and machine shop industries. His engagement formats have included full operating and P&L responsibility as the Chief Executive Officer or President, Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO) and various advisory roles, including court appointments.
As a trusted and experienced career turnaround specialist, Peter is often engaged once alternative options for corporate rescue have been exhausted.
In addition to corporate turnarounds and restructuring, Peter’s capabilities encompass business performance improvement and management of fundamental and complex change processes during corporate transformations with rapid profitability and liquidity improvement.
Peter holds an MSc in Industrial Management and Mechanical Engineering degree from Aalto University, Helsinki and an MBA from Queens University, Charlotte, North Carolina. Peter was designated as a Certified Turnaround Professional, CTP by the Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals, Chicago, Illinois in 1999. Peter holds a dual citizenship of United States and Finland and currently resides in Helsinki.
